Jaime Irick, General Manager - North America Professional Solutions
Jaime Irick attended The United States Military Academy at West Point and graduated with a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Army as a Field Artillery Second Lieutenant. Jaime held a variety of leadership roles while stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and also served an Intrinsic Action rotation in Kuwait. Jaime is a qualified Airborne Ranger and graduate of the Army’s Scout Platoon Leader Course. After five years of service in the Army, Jaime attended The Harvard Business School where he earned his MBA. Prior to joining GE, Jaime worked in business development for two start-up technology companies, and also served as an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs.
In 2003, Jaime joined GE’s Corporate Initiatives Group (CIG), based in Fairfield, Conn. While in CIG, Jaime led several company-wide sales and marketing initiatives focused on both organic growth and acquisition integration. In 2004, Jaime was promoted to a Sales Director role within GE Security’s Homeland Protection Division. In 2007, he was promoted to General Manager of GE Power Sensing, a stand-alone P&L within GE Energy, which designs, manufactures and sells power equipment products around the world. In this role, Jaime had global responsibility for operations, business strategy, research and development, organizational development, sales and marketing.
In 2010, Jaime was promoted to President and CEO of GE Lighting Solutions for GE’s LED and lighting fixtures business. In 2012, Jaime’s role expanded to include all sales activities of all lighting technologies in GE Lighting’s commercial and industrial product portfolio as General Manager of North America Professional Solutions. He has been a guest lecturer on business and leadership at various academic institutions such as The Harvard Business School and NYU’s Stern School of Business.
